段姣珑老师，五岁开始习筝，先后师从美国著名古筝表演艺术家王君玲女士，及河南古筝表演艺术家唐洪福先生。在古筝路上孜孜不倦的走过了20多年。
2009年开始在新加坡教授古筝，学生不论在国大音乐考级（与中国音乐学院联办）还是南洋艺术学院（与中央音乐学院联办）考级中，都取得了十分优秀的成绩。更有学生在小升初的考试中，古筝的特长为其加分不少，使之升到了理想的中学。
为了使学生在舞台上得到更好的锻炼，老师会经常带领学生参加各个社区联络所的演出活动。其中2010年，曾为前驻新加坡大使馆的教育参赞周建平女士表演，2013年在碧山大巴窑联络所，与学生联手演奏古筝二重奏《春江花月夜》，演出后，新加坡前副总理黄根城先生与我们亲切合影。
Jiaolong Duan, a talent and professional guzheng teacher, is the student
of the fourth generation of "Chao" Style guzheng. When she was 5
years old, Duan studied after Wang Junling who is very famous in USA now. (Wang
is the third generation of “Chao” Style guzheng). Since 2003, Duan studied
after Zhao Manqin’s student Tang hongfu (Zhao manqin, one of top guzheng musician
in China, who founded the special "super speed" guzheng finger
technique).
Duan started teaching 1-1 guzheng in Singapore since 2009. With 5 year
experiences, she gradually formed her own teaching style and curriculum, which
could apply Singapore students better. Duan pays great attention to each
students’ elementary techniques, basic hand actions, which will make big
differencse in advanced study. With these training, all her students passed NUS
& NAFA grading Exam with merit and distinction in Singapore.
Since 2010, Duan has been very active to perform in various community
activities. She gave performances in Art festivals, Nanyang Technological
University Alumni, Chinese festival events. Particulaly, in 2013, she
collaborated with PA and performed at several community centers. She received tremendous
rewards for the audience, including: MP and former minister Mr Wong Kan Seng,
Counsellor for Education Chinese Embassy in Singapore, Mdm Zhou Jianping etc.
